TDAC Last Minute: What To Do If You Forgot

It happens to the best of us. You’ve packed your bags, checked in online, and suddenly realised — you forgot your TDAC — Thailand Digital Arrival Card, the mandatory digital entry form required for all foreign travellers entering Thailand.

First thing: don’t panic. You still have options.

The TDAC 72-Hour Window: What You Need to Know

The TDAC can only be submitted within 72 hours before your arrival in Thailand. This is a strict rule set by Thai immigration authorities. Not before, not after.

So if your flight lands tomorrow, your window is already open. You still have time.

What You Need to Submit Your TDAC Last Minute

Before you start, make sure you have these three things ready:

  • Your passport — number, issuing country
  • Your flight details — arrival date, flight number
  • Your accommodation address in Thailand — hotel name and address

That’s it. No complicated documents, no embassy visits.

Option 1 — Submit Your TDAC Yourself for Free

The official portal is tdac.immigration.go.th. It’s free. If you’re comfortable with online forms and have 15 to 20 minutes, this is the route for you.

Be careful though — common mistakes include entering passport details incorrectly, selecting the wrong arrival date, or missing required fields. Any error can delay your approval.

Option 2 — Emergency TDAC Service: Done in 4 Hours

If you’re short on time, stressed, or simply don’t want to risk a mistake, our Emergency service submits your TDAC within 4 hours of receiving your information. Your application goes to the top of our queue and is reviewed by our team before submission.

Important: once submitted, your TDAC confirmation is sent directly by the official Thai Immigration system to your email address. We handle the submission on your behalf — but the confirmation you receive is the official government document, exactly the same as if you had applied yourself.

You receive your confirmation QR code directly by email — ready to present at the airport.

If you need it done fast, thailandentry.com handles it for you — they submit within 4 hours.

Arriving in Thailand Without a TDAC: What Happens?

Thai immigration officers will ask for your TDAC upon arrival. Without it, you may face:

  • Delays at immigration
  • Additional questioning
  • Being asked to complete the form on the spot — under pressure, at the airport

It’s always better to have it sorted before you land.

Last Minute TDAC: One Final Tip Before You Land

Once you receive your TDAC confirmation by email, save it in two places — your email and your phone’s photo gallery. And if you can, print it. A dead battery at the airport is the last thing you need.

Safe travels — Thailand is waiting for you.
